What could make life easier for children who have lost one or both parents?
The Bulgarian “I Can Achieve” Foundation answers this question, and since April, BG-Mamma has officially supported their efforts to provide complete information – when it is most needed.
The organization, founded by Ralitsa Kolarova, is the creator of the website https://sampostigam.org/. This is a unique online space for Bulgaria, where detailed information about both government and private assistance for orphans is collected. According to Ralitsa, the opportunities to help children and young people without parents are actually quite numerous. The problem is that young people and/or their guardians are usually not being proactively informed about them.
At BG-Mamma, many young people, as well as parents who have lost their partner and are raising their children alone, are looking for answers to these questions. That is why we are most happy that Ralitsa agreed to join the platform as a user with the distinctive rank of Digital Storyteller. Through her profile, she will personally answer questions and direct users to the relevant resources.
